It is also very important to keep the shredder from rusting. So you should decide if the machine needs to be painted according to the size without paint. If the lots of areas of shredder lost paint, you should paint the whole machine to repair. You can smear butter if there are  metals bare.

The blades of shredder are important part for shredder. On the one hand, manufacturers should choose better material to produce blades to promise the quality and efficiency of shredder. On the other hand, users should pay attention to maintain shredder, especially blades. After all, blades are core part and they also are quick-wear part.

The blade is easy to wear if it works for a long time. You can change a set of new blades if they are wore to a great extent. But the blades also can be sent to the manufacturers to be reground.

1. Before the work, you must check every part of the shredder to ensure it works normally. Especially you should check screws, bolts, and belt.

2. You must keep feeding material evenly during the shredder is working to promise the output capacity and quality after being shredded. You must remember that this plastic shredder can not be used to shred metal material. At the same time, motor overload is strictly prohibited to ensure the machine to work normally.

3. You must promise to install bearing correctly. And you also must check if it needs to change lubricating oil. The problem of excess temperature needs to be avoided.

4. Please stop the machine immediately if there is noise or the temperature of bearing exceeds 70℃. Then you should troubleshoot bugs.

5. You should check the discharge gate by turn rotor to avoid friction.

6. You must check sealing strips installed on the shell of shredder if they are clean.

7. In order to ensure the safety of workers and equipment, maintenance, adjustment, and cleaning are prohibited during the operation of the single-shaft shredder.
