The plastic crusher is used to crush waste plastics and factory plastic scraps, and is widely used in the recycling of waste plastics and factory scraps. It consists of a crushing system, a transmission system and a body. The evaluation of its performance mainly includes the following aspects:
1. The average size and size distribution of the lumps discharged from the crusher
The average size of the lumps has a significant impact on its reprocessing performance (such as extrusion or injection molding processing). Too small or too large lumps have an adverse effect on the batching, feeding and plasticization. The size distribution refers to the degree of difference in the size of the lumps. The wider the distribution, the greater the difference in size. Obviously, a too wide size distribution is not conducive to reprocessing.
2. Production efficiency of the equipment
Production efficiency refers to the ratio of the amount of material fed to the time taken for complete crushing.
3. Power consumption of the equipment
Power consumption refers to the power consumed by crushing waste plastics per unit mass. For any crusher, we always hope for high efficiency and low power consumption.
4. Noise of the equipment
The noise level is another important indicator of the crusher. Excessive noise seriously pollutes the production environment, and noise reduction has become an important task.
5. The equipment’s adaptability to the types of crushed materials
Among the crushed materials, some are tough (such as PE, PP, SPVC), and some are brittle (such as HPVC, PS); some have a large specific surface area (such as hollow pipes, profiled materials), some have a small specific surface area (such as solid bars); some are large pieces, some are small pieces, etc. These different types and properties of waste plastics make the crusher have versatility in structure and operation.
