Brief introduction to the structure of high-speed mixer

Recently, I found that there are many customers who inquire about the high-speed mixer. Today I will use this article to introduce the structure of the high-speed mixer. Hope it will be helpful to everyone.

SHR series high-speed mixer is mainly used for mixing and colouring of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin, colouring and drying of polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) particles, drying of ABS polycarbonate and other hygroscopic resins before molding and processing, and mixing of phenolic resin. Because of its advantages of fast mixing, uniform mixture, good absorbability of resin for additives, easy operation of the machine, easy cleaning, sturdy and durable, compact structure and so on. It has gradually replaced the low-speed mixer and is widely used in the production of various plastic industries. Its structure from the following aspects:

(1) Mixing pot:

The pot is welded by stainless steel. The inner surface of the pot is very smooth and hard, it has the characteristics of wear-resisting, corrosion-resisting and non-stick to materials.

There are heating cover and resistance heating ring on the outer surface of the pot. The temperature is transferred to the pot body by heating the high ignition point mechanical oil in the cover, so that the pot body is heated evenly.

The temperature of the material in the pot can be controlled by adjusting the heating temperature.

(2) Pot cover:

The boiler cover is made of cast aluminum and the inner surface is finely polished. After the cylinder is lifted and the lid is lifted, the rotating shaft can be rotated clockwise along the vertical direction. There are feeding holes , auxiliary feeding holes and ventilating holes on the cover pot.

Users can also customize feeding holes according to their own needs.

(3) Main shaft and blades:

The main shaft is driven by a belt wheel drive. There are three blades on the top of the main shaft, which rotate clockwise to make the material move along the wall and rotate up and down and combined with the role of the guide plate, the mixing effect is better; The medium, granular and slurry in the material are moving at high-speed. The material generates a lot of heat due to friction, which makes the material temperature rise rapidly and reduces the heat added by the electric wall, which is conducive to the absorption of plasticizer by the resin. The blades are made of stainless steel and have been polished to make them wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant.

(4) Deflecting plate:

The deflecting plate is used to enhance the mixing effect, make the material roll in the barrel through the reasonable deflecting angle and greatly improve the mixing effect.

A temperature measuring thermocouple is installed in the guide plate so that the material temperature can be visually reflected on the display screen. 

(5) Body:

The body is made of steel plate after the welding frame of section steel which greatly enhances the strength of the frame while ensuring the appearance.

The four corners of the frame are installed with lifting rings, and the frame is equipped with a transmission mechanism of belt wheel. The side plate of the body can be opened to replace the belt. 

(6) Hopper:

The hopper is made of cast aluminum and is equipped with a pneumatic discharging door which connects the cylinder with the door in a straight line. The closing pressure of discharge door is reliable, the sealing is good, the opening and closing is flexible. The discharge door is powered by a 0.39-0.49 mpa air compressor (optional by the user).

The discharging method can be used to control the opening and closing of the discharging door by the automatic control of the temperature of the material in the pot and the manual control of the button.
