Maintenance of the pulverizer

Recently, there are many customers who inquire about the pulverizer, and some customers who bought the pulverizer, don’t know how to better maintain the equipment, so today I write this article to introduce the routine maintenance of the pulverizer. I hope it can be helpful to everyone.

1. Definition of plastic pulverizer

Plastic Pulverizer can be divided into two types: grinding disc and cutter disc. Grinding disc pulverizer is mainly used to cut and grind materials among the gap between two grinding discs. Cutter disc pulverizer is used to grind materials by the impact of the cutter disc. Plastic pulverizer is named after years of practical use and operation, the MFS series plastic pulverizer(cutter disc type) of Jiangsu Lantai Machinery is designed and researched to meet the needs of customers based on the  introduction of foreign advanced equipment. It is an ideal equipment for processing and grinding thermoplastic materials which are characterized by high hardness and brittleness like PVC etc. It is also a processing equipment for the recycling of plastic products.

 It has been proved by the practice of a professional plastic product factory that 20-30% of the ground powder is added to the processing formula, and the chemical and physical properties of the product remain unchanged from the new material. The equipment has the advantages of high output, low energy consumption, adjustable of the size of grinding powder, convenient maintenance, environmental protection and pollution-free, and achieved a new level compared with similar products. Therefore, the equipment is a good helper for plastic products manufacturers to reduce costs and solve the problem of accumulation of waste products.

2. Routine maintenance

(1) Open the door cover regularly, check the fastening screw of the cutter disc, there must be no looseness, after the cutter disc is worn, the cutter disc can be removed and can be used after re-repair.

(2) Lubricating oil main bearing uses high-temperature lubricants and lubricating oil is added twice a week.

(3) The inside of the fan and the inner wall of the air duct are inspected and removed the knotted dust every month. The dust-removing cloth bag is cleaned from time to time depending on the dust removal condition.

(4) The main motor shall be maintained every 5 months to remove dust, add lubricating oil, remove the oil drain hole screw when refuelling, inject new oil into the oil inlet, and stop refuelling when new oil is discharged.

3. Notes

(1) The main machine is lubricated twice a week, and each motor is lubricated once every three months.

(2) Ensure cooling water is connected when starting up, inlet pressure shall not exceed 0.2 kg, and the water temperature is about 20℃(circulating water procedure: inlet water under bearing seat, upper outlet water is connected with inlet water under grinding disc, outlet water of grinding disc is connected with inlet water under box body, outlet water of box body is connected with inlet water under pipe, outlet water of pipe is discharged into storage tank for recycling).

(3) The water outlet must not be blocked, otherwise the cooling layer will be deformed.

(4) All pipe connections need to be sealed.

(5) The running direction of each motor must not be reversed.

(6) There must be no metal, stone or other sundries in the feed.

(7) Do not feed material before the main machine is rotated, so as to avoid the phenomenon of cutter disc stuck; If the cutter disc is stuck, the power should be cut off immediately, unscrew the four fastening bolts on the door cover, open the door cover, and clear the materials in the grinding disc. Close the door cover and tighten the bolts before starting up.

(8) In case of abnormal sound, stop the machine for inspection and restart after troubleshooting.

(9) Thermoplastic material should not be fed too much, otherwise, the temperature of the material is too high and melt agglomerate.

(10) Clean dust cloth bag frequently and keep ventilation, otherwise it will affect the output and the mesh of finished materials, and in serious cases, the material temperature may be too high.
